Rompin is a
district located in the southeast of the state Pahang,
Malaysia. The district covers an area of 5,296 km and located 180
kilometres from Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang.
It is bordered to the north by Pekan, to the west
by Bera, to the south by
Johor, and to the east by the South
China Sea.
The capital
city of the district is Kuala Rompin.
Rompin is administer by Rompin District Council (Majlis Daerah Rompin).
Kuala Rompin itself is not short of attractive destinations. It offers
water lovers a choice of exciting yet soothing holiday destinations. There
are also few hotels in Kuala Rompin to facilitated the needs of visitors.
Rompin is
also the getaway to the magnificent Endau-Rompin state park as well as the
sea getaway to the
Tioman
Islands.
