Maluri (also known as Taman
Maluri) is one of the main housing estates in the outskirts of Kuala
Lumpur, near the state border to Selangor.
Taman Maluri is one of the earliest housing estates in Kuala Lumpur. It can be accessed through the
Maluri
LRT station on the Ampang Line and the
Maluri MRT station on the
Klang Valley MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line.
It is the closest housing
estate to Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle and is accessed via Jalan
Cochrane, Jalan Perkasa, Jalan Cheras and MRR2 via Pandan Jaya. The AEON
Shopping Centre is a popular shopping mall in Maluri.
It houses a number of public schools, private schools and international
ones. Most notable is Sri Garden Kuala Lumpur, which has a private school
and international school located on the same campus.
Hotel Maluri is situated close to Peel Road and Government Quarters.
Due to its proximity to the Golden Triangle and its various access points
very seldom does one find landed properties on sale as most residents tend
to hold on to them.
